Spotify's new "Social Listening" feature will allow multiple users to listen music together

The music streaming giant Spotify is working on a new feature called the "Social Listening" which will allow multiple users to add songs and make playlists in real time. Through this feature friends could control together with their own devices by scanning codes and opening links.

Currently the feature is being tested internally by the Spotify employees. "We're always testing new products and experiences, but have no further news to share at this time," Spotify told TechCrunch.

Earlier this month, Spotify revealed the "Car Thing", which is a voice controlled music and podcast player for cars. The product is under testing and will be limited to United States. The company will also invite some Spotify Premium users for it's hardwares. Though the hardware is in testing, Spotify stated that it doesn't have any plans to release the device for the consumers anytime soon.
