Samsung has launched their latest smartphone Galaxy A9 in India. The phone is a premium smartphone with a budget pricing. The biggest highlight of the phone are the cameras. The phone don't have two or three but four rear cameras. This is the first ever phone to have a quad camera setup at the back.
In the past couple of months Samsung is focussing more on the camera performances of it's devices. Samsung has also launched the Galaxy A7 earlier this year which was having a triple rear camera setup.

So now let's talk about the cameras first as the Samsung Galaxy A9 has four rear cameras. The first camera is 8MP Ultra Wide camera with a FoV of 120 degrees and f2.4 aperture. The second camera is a 10MP Telephoto camera with f2.4 aperture with 2x optical zoom. The third camera is the main camera which is 24MP with f1.7 aperture for clear and bright pictures in low light. The fourth camera is a 5MP depth camera with f2.2 aperture with live focus. The Galaxy A9 is also capable of recording UHD 4K videos at 30fps. The phone also has a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Well this will not be wrong to say that the device has five cameras in total.

The Galaxy A9 has a 6.3 inch Full HD+ Super Amoled display with a pixel density of 393ppi. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Soc, Octa Core processor and Adreno 512. The device will be available in 6gb ram and 8gb ram variant both with 128gb of internal storage which can be expandable upto 512gb via microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 has a 3800mAh battery and supports fast charging via USB Type-C. The smartphone runs on Samsung Experience UI based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 is priced at Rs. 36990 for the 6gb RAM version and Rs. 39,990 for the 8gb RAM version both having 128gb of internal storage. The phones will be available in three different colours : Caviet Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink.
The devices are available for pre-booking on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Samsung shop and also on Samsung's offline stores. The phone will be available for sale from November 28. The Galaxy A9 also has a cashback worth Rs. 3,000 when purchasing using an HDFC debit or credit card.
