Samsung Introduces Galaxy A9 : The first Quad Camera Smartphone

The camera is one of the most important features on the phone.Over the time the cameras in the smartphones has evolved remarkably. Till last year we all were very excited for dual rear camera setup phones which gave us two camera on the back for a bokeh effect, 2x zoom, wide angle etc which revolutionized the mobile phone market. Almost every smartphone which comes to the market is coming with dual rear cameras even in the budget category.

 This year triple rear cameras were introduced in some phones like Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A7 which caught everybody's eyes as these were the first of their kind.

Quad Camera Setup

Today Samsung has introduced Galaxy A9 which is a Quad Camera phone. Yes you read it right, as this smartphone has four cameras on the back. The first camera is 8MP Ultra Wide camera with a FoV of 120 degrees and f2.4 aperture. The second camera is a 10MP Telephoto camera with f2.4 aperture with 2x optical zoom. The third camera is the main camera which is 24MP with f1.7 aperture for clear and bright pictures in low light. The fourth camera is a 5MP depth camera with f2.2 aperture with live focus. The phone also has a 24MP front camera, which makes this phone a five camera phone.

The device has a large 6.3 inch Super Amoled FHD+ Infinity display. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, Octa Core processor and has a 3800 mAh battery with fast charge support.

The device will be available in 6gb ram and 8gb ram variants both with 128gb of internal storage which can be expandable upto 512gb via microSD.

Samsung Galaxy A9 also has some eccentric colour schemes such as Caviet Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink. The phone will cost somewhere around 599 euros (Rs. 51,300 approximately) when it will go on sale somewhere in November.
