Honor V20 launched with Punch Hole Display, 48MP Camera and much more

Huawei has officially launched the new Honor V20. The Honor V20 is Huawei's first phone which will come with a Punch Hole display. The phone is currently available in China but is soon going global on January 22 in an event in Paris.

The phone has a beautiful and gigantic 6.4 inch Full HD+ TFT LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The phone has a 91.82 percent screen to body ratio and a 398ppi pixel density.

The Honor V20 has a HiSilicon Kirin 980 Soc, Octa Core processor under the hood alongside 6gb ram and 8gb ram with 128gb and 256gb internal storage options.

The camera is one of the biggest highlights of the phone. On the front through the punch hole display there is a 25MP sensor which is located on the upper left area. On the back there is a triple rear camera setup where the primary sensor is a 48MP sensor. The camera also supports a 3D slimming feature and many more.

The primary 48MP sensor is a Sony IMX586 with a f/1.8 aperture. The camera is capable of recording slow motion videos in 960fps and also supports Auto Focus, AI HDR, LED flash, etc. The secondary sensor is a 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor which captures the depth of an image which further can be used for live slimming the images and creating 3D avatars of the users. The front camera is a 25MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, with a fixed focus support. The camera also has an AI mode, night scene, portait, fun AR, time lapse photography, slow motion, etc.

The Honor V20 runs on Android Pie (9.0) with a MagicUI 2.0.1. The phone will also come with a Yoyo Virtual Assistant. The smartphone has a massive 4000mAh battery with the support of fast charging. The phone also has a GPU Turbo 2.0 technology for intense gamers. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on back.

The phone is currently available in China for CNY 2,999 (Rs.30,400) for the 6gb ram and 128gb internal storage, CNY 3,499 (Rs.35,500) for the 8gb ram and 128gb internal storage and CNY 3,999 (Rs.40,600) for the 8gb ram and 256gb internal storage. The will come in Charm Blue, Red and Midnight Black colour options.
